See more GOATSOur lives have taken us in a different direction and we are looking to sell 275 milkers 6 -7 breeding bucks 10 dry does. As well as all milking equipment.. We’ve been milking almost 11 years. We have always used breeding bucks with over 5000# of milk behind them. We have bred for longevity and production.. Our herd is a mix of Alpine Saanen and some crosses with Nubian.. with some registered Alpines and saanens bucks and does. this is a nice consistent milking herd, not pushed for production. We where last on test in 2018 with 7 does milking 5000+ pounds. We have several Alpine does from mamm-key dairy and we have used bucks from some of her top does for the last 10 years. Our saanens originally came from cherry lane saanen in Ohio. We had added to this herd with a herd of mixed dairy goats from Avalanche dairy in Colorado. That was a very milky herd with several peaking over 20# . We also added 9 does from a hobby/ show herd in Utah all alpines with lots of milk behind them .
